On August 10, 2012 Lego has become 80 years old! To celebrate that achievement, Lego has released a video on their channel, about the humble beginnings of the company. It is a seventeen minute video, and as insane as it might sound, the video goes by really fast! the image on this post is a screenshot from the video, and as you can see it is completely CG. Half the time i was watching it, i thought of Pixar, of how fluid the animations were, and how nicely the story transitioned itself. I am an enthused Lego fanatic, and i didn’t know that Lego started off making totally different things they did today! the evolution of the Lego brick was the most fascinating, i won’t give anything away, but it was an ingenious how such a small change can make a big difference. The part that stuck out to me the most, was how Lego train played a bigger role in the development, and the growth of the company back then, i won’t say what, but watch the video to find out!
