The 9th Annual Lego Train Show was held at Cantigny in Wheaton, Illinois. This exhibit was placed in the lobby of the Cantigny museum. The attraction for young children came in a form of a trackless train ride around the grounds of the complex; for one dollar per ride.
There displayed three Lego trains going through a custom built Lego city. Near the custom buildings, there were also some Lego sets. The buildings were not the main attraction of this exhibit, though; it was the trains that stole the spotlight. The trains that were displayed include the green bullet train, the 10020 Santa Fe Super Chief and the 7897 Passenger Train sets. Just a few feet away from this exhibit, some vendors were selling some neat stuff there, the item that caught my eye were these nifty miniature train Christmas tree decorations. It was the first exhibit that I saw at the show, and a good one to get things started at that.
